This is a video in which protrays sexism in a great extent. It basically shows how women in reality have much more to deal with than men in reality. It shows how the women have to put with alot more things than man do occasionally. For example, the ad shows a child being dirty, which is the lack of the women not being clean and not taking care of her child. It also shows how women have to worry about wrinkles in the body, mentration, and other duties. Whereas the ad portrays the role of the male to be easy and full of joy. The ad shows that women have alot more to purchase so they can survive, whereas the male only needs a beer and a women. The ad portrays sexism in which certain society accepts and is familiar with. However, for the western society, the role of the female is to be the male’s gaze. In which the ad portrays, when the men drinks the beer and has the women’s arms coming up his chest. Sexism is still something that is dominant in different cultures and different societies around the world. However this ad does a phenomenal job showing the male’s role and duty and the female’s role and duty.

One of the big things about YouTube is authenticity of amateurs, not cheese from professionals pulling our chain. Before we were passive consumers and audiences, now the internet and new media is transforming us into producers of content. YouTube audience is estimated as 250 million online video viewers in current social world. Five billion people watch TV right now and about 250 000 a day total audience for online video. Current statistics show that about two million are new users to YouTube. Our relationship to television is going to change because of our involvement in the production and consumption of new media. Parody is about taking it down a notch and making it less serious and parody might also be a way of undermining the star image and making fun of the seriousness. We weren’t able to express the parody to the same level and extent; but we now have digital mediums for which we can do all sorts of things to.

The internet is becoming more vital to people’s daily lives and will continue to be more imperative in the future. According to Michael Strangelove’s text book “The Empire of Mind” Strangelove simple sees the internet as an alternative space inhabited by communities dedicated to anarchic freedom, culture jamming, alternative journalism, and resistance to authoritarians. However, the internet will continue to change to furthermore dominate the social world. According to Dr.Strangelove, internet audiences are more “active, creative, and subversive” than the television audience. With that said, Professor Strangelove, argues that “the internet and new digital communication technology actually undermine the power of capital.”
